MGU Co - Ordinator Recruitment 2026

Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) has announced 1 vacancy for the Co-Ordinator post on a contract basis for a period of one year. Eligible candidates can apply offline by sending their applications by post to The Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P.O., Kottayam on or before 27 October 2026, with the application process starting on 12 October 2026. Applicants must possess a Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition/relevant discipline with 15 years experience and 10 publications, and belong to the E/B/T category. The notified pay for the Co-Ordinator post is Rs. 30,000 per month, and the selection process consists of an interview.

Educational Qualification

• The candidate should be an eminent scholar with a Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition or a relevant discipline.
• Actively engaged in research with a minimum of 10 publications in national or international journals with a high impact factor.
• Contribution to educational innovations, designing new curriculum and courses, and experience in technology-mediated teaching-learning processes.

Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in a University or college and/or experience in research at University or National level institutions or industries, including experience in guiding students for research at the doctoral level.

Age Limit

• Below 70 years as on 01.01.2026.

The selection of candidates for the Co-Ordinator post will be conducted through an interview.

• Candidates must belong to the E/B/T category to be eligible to apply.
