A total of 8 vacancies are available - 1 for Vice Principal, 1 for Headmaster/Headmistress, 1 for Special Educator (PRT), 1 for PRT (Computer Science), 1/2 for PRT (All Subjects), 1 for PRT (Physical Education Trainer/Karate Instructor), and 1 each for TGT (Bengali & Nepali).

• Vice Principal: Regular Master's Degree with 50% aggregate marks in CBSE notified teaching subjects (preferably being taught in Army Public Schools) from a recognized University/ institute. Regular Bachelor of Education with min 50% aggregate marks from UGC/ NCTE recognized University/ institution. 06 years regular service as a PGT in any teaching subject in a recognized CBSE school. OR 10 years combined service as PGT/ TGT in any teaching subject in a recognized CBSE school with minimum 03 years as a PGT in a recognized CBSE School. IT Proficient. Adequate working knowledge of computers/ MS Office/ MS PowerPoint. Additional Desired Qualifications: PhD, M.Ed and minimum 03 years administrative experience in a recognized CBSE School. For APS Employees (PGT/ TGT): Only experience and age criteria is required to be fulfilled.
• Headmaster/ Headmistress: Graduate in any specialization with minimum 50% marks in each and overall aggregate. B.Ed/ M.Ed/ B.El.Ed/ two years Diploma in elementary education. Minimum 08 years of teaching experience with atleast of 05 years as PRT in a CBSE recognized school. Qualified in CTET/ State TET and OST. IT/ Computer literate. Teachers from the same school who fulfill the min QR as laid down above would be preferred.
• Special Educator (PRT): Graduate with B.Ed (Special Education). OR B.Ed (General) with one year Diploma in Special Education. OR B.Ed (General) with two years Diploma in Special Education. OR B.Ed (General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGPC). OR B.Ed Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC). OR PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical & Neurological). OR PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor, Impairment and Cerebral Palsy). OR Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI. Mandatory Requirements: RCI Registration: A valid Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registration number is mandatory for all special educators.
• PRT (Computer Science): BCA or Graduation in Computer Science or BE/ B Tech (Computer Science/ IT) or Graduate in any subject and A level course from DOEACC, Ministry of Info & Communication & Technology, Govt of India. B El. Ed/ 02 years D El Ed. OR Teachers who were already in service with Army Public Schools/ APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply, subject to enrolment/ completion of Bridge Course launched by NCTE. Pass in CTET/ TET conducted by CBSE/ State Govt for PRT in accordance with the guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose. Proficiency in teaching English and Hindi medium.
• PRT (All Subjects): Graduate holding Bachelor's degree with at least minimum 50% marks in aggregate. B.El.Ed./ O2-year D.El.Ed. OR Teachers who were already in service with Army Public Schools/ APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply/ continue, subject to enrolment/ completion of Bridge Course launched by NCTE. Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by CBSE/ State Govt for PRTs in accordance with the guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium. Knowledge of Computer Application.
• PRT (Physical Education Trainer/ Karate Instructor) (Preferably Lady): Bachelor's degree with Physical Education as an elective subject with 50% marks. OR Bachelor's degree with physical Education as an elective subject with 45 % marks and participation in National or State or Inter University competition in sports or games or athletics recognized by Association of Indian University or Indian Olympics Association. OR Bachelor's degree with 45 0/ 0 marks and having participated in National or State or Inter-University sports or games or athletics. OR For deputed in-service candidate (i.e., trained Physical Education Teachers/ Coaches)-Graduation with 45 o/ o marks and at least 3 years of teaching experience as per National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2009. OR Graduation in Physical Education with 40 % Marks. OR Graduation with Physical Education as an elective subject with 40% marks. OR Graduate who participated school, Inter-Collegiate in sports/ games or passed NCC 'C' Certification in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007. OR Graduation in Physical Education i.e., B.P. Ed course (or its equivalent) of 3 years duration. OR Graduate having represented State/ University in sports/ games/ athletics. OR Graduate who has secured I st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter-Collegiate sports/ games tournaments/ possessing NCC 'C' Certificate or passed basic course in Adventure Sports. OR Graduate with one year training programme in Sports Science, Sports Management, Sport Coaching, Yoga, Olympic Education, Sports Journalism etc. (in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations, 2002 notification 13.11.2002. and Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) of at least one year duration (or its equivalent) from any National council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
• TGT (Bengali & Nepali): 1.Four years “Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Post-Graduation with a minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and three year Integrated B.Ed./ M.Ed. OR Bachelor Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/ combination of subjects and in aggregate in one of the following:- Educational Qualification Bengali as a subject in all the three years of Graduation. Nepali as a subject in all the three years of Graduation 2. B.Ed. from a NCTE recognized institution / University with minimum 50% marks 3. Preferably pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/ Teachers Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by CBSE/ State Govt in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. 4. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium. 5. Knowledge of Computer Application.

• Vice Principal: Minimum age 35 years, Maximum age 45 years. Relaxation: 55 years for APS Employees/ Ex-servicemen.
• Headmaster/ Headmistress: Maximum age 55 years. Relaxation: 57 years for ESM/ Teachers from the same school.
• Teachers: Maximum age 40 years (if no experience).
