Calicut University Women Security Guard Recruitment 2026

The University of Calicut will hold a physical test for its Women Security Guard walk-in on 20 November 2026 at 07.30 AM at Calicut University Stadium. The interview will follow on 21 November 2026 at 09.30 AM in the Syndicate Conference Hall, Administration block. The posts are for women only and are filled on a daily wage basis. Graduates who are not over 40 years as on 01.01.2026 can attend. The pay is ₹840 per day, with a maximum of ₹22,680 per month.

The official notification does not specify the number of vacancies or the application fee.

The University of Calicut issued this walk-in notice as a press and web release, signed by its Registrar, Beena C.K. The Women Security Guards will be engaged in the University on a daily wage basis. The physical test and the interview will both be held on the University's own premises.

The only post is Women Security Guard on a daily wage basis. Candidates must meet the educational, age and physical standards below. They must also qualify the physical test events.

Educational Qualification

Graduation from any recognized University.

Age Limit

The age should not exceed 40 years as on 01.01.2026. SC/ST/OBC candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules. The notice does not give the number of years of relaxation.

Candidates must be certified to meet the following visual standards without glasses:

• Each eye must have a full field of vision.
• Colour blindness, squint or any morbid conditions of the eye or lids of either eye are a disqualification.
• Candidates must be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, and defective speech and hearing.

Physical Test Events

Candidates must qualify at least five of the following eight events:

Pay

The wages are ₹840/- per day, with a maximum of ₹22,680/- per month. Engagement is on a daily wage basis. The notice does not mention any allowances.

The medical certificate format is printed with the notice. The medical officer must certify that the candidate is medically fit for the Physical Fitness Test under Notification No. 195273/AD-K-ASST-1/2022/Admn for the post of Women Security Guard in the University of Calicut. The certificate also needs the place, date, the medical officer's signature, name and designation, and the office seal.

Selection has two stages: a physical test and an interview.

1. Report for the physical test at Calicut University Stadium on 20.11.2026 at 07.30 AM.
2. In the physical test, qualify at least five of the eight events listed above.
3. Only candidates who qualify the physical test will be permitted to attend the interview.
4. The interview is on 21.11.2026 at 09.30 AM in the Syndicate Conference Hall, Administration block.
