NCDC Recruitment 2026: The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has invited applications for 30 contractual posts, including Public Health Specialist, Medical Epidemiologist, Data Analyst, Microbiologist, Finance Officer, Training Manager and other positions. Eligible candidates with the prescribed medical, postgraduate, graduate or professional qualifications and relevant experience can apply. The monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,50,000. Applications must reach the NCDC office in Delhi through Speed Post or hand delivery by 9 November 2026.

Important: These are contractual positions for an initial period of one year. Selection does not provide a right to regular or permanent employment under NCDC or the Government of India.

The completed application must reach the designated office by the closing date. Applications received after 9 November 2026 will not be entertained.

Eligibility varies by position. Applicants must possess the relevant qualifications and required post-qualification experience specified for their chosen post.

Post-Wise Educational Qualification and Experience

Important: Several posts have alternative qualification routes and specific experience conditions. Applicants must read the detailed requirements for their selected post in the official notification before submitting the form.

The maximum age limit is 40 or 45 years, depending on the position.

The notification specifies fixed consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,50,000, depending on the post.

These are consolidated contractual remuneration amounts, not regular government pay scales. The notification does not provide additional separate allowances or a detailed in-hand salary calculation.

Selection will be conducted through screening of applications followed by an interview for eligible candidates.

1. Scrutiny of submitted applications and supporting documents.
2. Shortlisting based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and Terms of Reference (ToR).
3. Interview of shortlisted eligible candidates.
4. Final selection and contractual engagement, subject to applicable conditions.

Only eligible shortlisted candidates will receive an email informing them of the interview date and time. The notification does not prescribe a separate written examination.

• The initial contractual engagement is for one year.
• Continuation will depend on yearly requirements.
• Selected candidates must sign a Contractual Service Agreement at the time of joining.
• Contractual personnel will not be treated as regular NCDC employees.
• Contractual engagement does not provide any claim for permanent government appointment.
• No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
• No separate medical facility or additional financial allowance is provided beyond the consolidated remuneration under the stated conditions.
• Annual leave of 30 days and 10 days of casual or sick leave are provided as specified in the notice.
• Either party may terminate the service by giving one month's notice.
