NIT Calicut Research Associate - I Recruitment 2026

NIT Calicut has one Research Associate-I position on a contract basis in its Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The work falls under a MoSPI-sponsored project on developing price indices from new and conventional data sources. Applications go by email and must arrive by 11 November 2026, with the online interview two days later. The position carries a consolidated pay of Rs. 65,000 a month.

National Institute of Technology Calicut is a technical institute with its campus at N.I.T Campus (P.O), Kerala-673601. This engagement is in its Department of Computer Science and Engineering, for a project sponsored by MoSPI.

The essential qualification is one of the following:

• PhD
• Master's degree in Engineering/ technology or MSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Data Science and Artificial Intelligence/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical Engineering) with 3 years experience and at least one journal publication

The Institute reserves the right to relax qualification and experience for candidates with exceptional credentials.
