• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Production / Production& Industrial / Manufacturing / Mechanical / Railways/ Mechatronics & Automobile or any of the above combinations in part or whole.
• Experience: Minimum of 06 years’ experience in designing and optimizing bulk material handling systems.
• Upper age limit: 40 years (as on 2 November 2026)
• Age relaxation: SC/ST 5, OBC-NCL 3, PwBD 10

Other conditions:

• Selected candidates shall be liable for posting anywhere in India as per Company requirements.
• Medical fitness as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness.

Basic pay and DA, fixed/variable allowances @ 23% of Basic Pay, HRA/Lease, Contribution to PF, Gratuity as per Payment of Gratuity Act.

• Appointment shall be purely on contract basis initially for a period of one year, extendable until completion of the assignment.

Payment mode: Online. Last date to pay the fee: 2 November 2026.

• Written Test
• Interview
• Written Test: 125 objective type questions carrying one mark each for duration of 2.5 Hours.
• Interview: weightage distribution - Written Test 60%, Interview 40%.

• Candidates belonging to PwBD Category are eligible for a compensatory time of 50 minutes.

• High School certificate for proof of Date of Birth
• Certificates of Academic & Professional qualifications along with mark sheets
• Percentage Conversion Document
• EWS/ SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD Certificate
• Proof of Identity & Address
• PAN Card
• Proof of each period of experience claimed

1. Interested candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of RITES website, http://www.rites.com.
2. Note down the generated Registration No.
3. Fill up required details under the Fill/ Modify Application Form and upload all documents under the Upload Document section.
4. Make online payment under the Make Payment section and download final application form.
5. Send it on or before 2 November 2026.

• Posts not reserved for SC / ST / PwD category, candidates from such category will also have to make payment of full fees.
• The fee charged from candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwD category will be refunded later upon participation in further selection process.
