AIIMS Raipur - Research Officer, Lab Technician and Field Worker Recruitment 2026

AIIMS Raipur is hiring 3 people on contract for the BMGF-funded multicentric iKMC study: 1 Research Officer, 1 Lab Technician and 1 Field Worker. Each post pays a fixed consolidated salary: Rs. 65,000/- a month for the Research Officer and Rs. 25,000/- a month for the other two. Applications go by speed post only. They must reach the institute by 02:00 PM on 12 November 2026. The interview is proposed for 16 November 2026, but that date depends on how many applications come in.

The official notification does not specify the application fee.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raipur is located on G.E. Road, Tatibandh, Raipur – 492099, Chhattisgarh. These posts are part of the BMGF Multicentric iKMC Study run by the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Atul Jindal, Professor, is the Principal Investigator (P.I) for the study.

Place of Posting and Duties

All three posts also have to complete any work the PI or Co-PI assigns for the smooth running of the BMGF iKMC project.

Age Limit

• Research Officer: 18-45 years
• Lab Technician: 18-35 years
• Field Worker: 18-35 years

Research Officer (BMGF/02)

Essential: MBBS/BDS/MPH with 02 years of research experience/Experience in working in Pediatrics Department or Child Health.

Desirable: At least one publication.

Lab Technician (BMGF/06)

Essential (either one):

• B.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Science with at least 01 year of work in a diagnostic/research laboratory, OR
• 12th with a diploma in medical laboratory Technology and at least 03 years of work in a diagnostic/research laboratory.

Desirable: Certificate in computer application, for example PGDCA/DCA.

Field Worker (BMGF/07)

Essential: 10+2/equivalent from a recognized board and 3 years of experience working in a diagnostic laboratory.

Desirable: DMLT/DALT with one year of experience working in a diagnostic laboratory.

• A selection committee will check the applications.
• Candidates will be selected through an interview. A written test will also be held if there are more than 50 eligible candidates for a post.
• Selection is based purely on merit.
• The list of eligible candidates will be put up on the AIIMS Raipur website, along with the date, time and venue of the interview or written test. Candidates will not be contacted separately.
• The list of selected candidates will appear on the website, and the people chosen will be told by email.

Interview Details

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• The job is for a fixed 6 months. Depending on the candidate's performance, it can be extended by up to 2.5 more years.
• You will not be on the AIIMS, Raipur payroll. The job ends automatically when the project is completed.
• Neither AIIMS, Raipur nor the principal investigators have any obligation to give permanent employment, and candidates cannot claim a permanent job on the basis of this one.
• You will be asked which posting centre you prefer, and your choice will be considered. However, the Principal Investigator alone decides the final posting.
• Transfers to other units depend on what the project needs, not on what the candidate prefers.

1. Download the application form. It is printed at the end of the official notification.
2. Fill in the form in the given format. It must be typed and signed. Do not change the serial number order or the column headings. You may add extra details on separate annexure sheets.
3. The form asks for: advertisement number, post applied for, name and father's/husband's name in block letters, postal address, contact number, email in capital letters, date of birth with proof, category (UR/ST/SC/OBC), gender, educational qualifications, work experience, current job, publications (only PUBMED indexed journals, as an annexure) and how long you would need before joining.
4. Staple or pin two recent, self-signed, passport-size colour photographs to the first page of the form.
5. Attach self-attested photocopies of your certificates.
6. On the envelope write: "Application for the contractual post of ______ In BMGF multicentric iKMC study, AIIMS, Raipur, C.G." Fill in the name of the post.
