South Western Railway (SWR), Hubballi, Karnataka, has invited applications for 258 posts in 5 roles under Advt No. No.01/2026(GDCE). Goods Train Manager (247 posts)

Qualification required: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. Age limit: 18 to 42 years.

JE / Bridge (2 posts)

Qualification required: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Age limit: 18 to 42 years.

JE / P.Way (2 posts)

Qualification required: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Age limit: 18 to 42 years.

JE / Mechanical Workshop (5 posts)

Qualification required: Three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation and Control / Tools and Machining / Tools and Die Making / Automobile / Production Engineering OR(b)a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Machining / Instrumentation and Control / Tools and Machining / Tools and Die Making/ Automobile / Production Engineering from a recognised University/Institute. Age limit: 18 to 42 years.

JE / S&T / Signal (2 posts)

Qualification required: Three years Diploma in (a) Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering OR (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Electrical / Electronics / Information Technology / Communication Engineering / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University / Institute. Age limit: 18 to 42 years.

• Selected employees undergo initial training of the same duration as direct recruits.

• There will be negative marking in CBT examination and marks will be deducted for each wrong answer @ 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question.
• English is the default language. Question papers are available in Hindi, Urdu, and local languages.
