Kerala PSC Police Constable, Attender and More Recruitment 2026

Kerala PSC Recruitment 2026: The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the Extra Ordinary Gazette Notification dated 30 October 2026 for 16 vacancies under Category Numbers 162/2026 to 173/2026. The recruitment includes Laboratory Assistant, Attender, Assistant Professor, CSR Technician, Sterilisation Technician, Police Constable (Trainee) and LD Typist posts in various Kerala Government departments and organizations. Candidates with the prescribed 7th Pass, SSLC, Plus Two, B.Sc., medical postgraduate or other post-specific qualifications can apply, subject to community and experience requirements. Important: Several vacancies are notified under NCA (No Candidate Available) or Special Recruitment provisions for particular communities. Candidates belonging to other communities cannot apply for those restricted vacancies. The Laboratory Assistant Society Category is also restricted to eligible employees of affiliated co-operative societies.

Kerala PSC has notified 16 existing vacancies across 12 category numbers, covering different qualifications and reservation groups.

Kerala PSC Category-Wise Vacancy Details

Important: These are the existing vacancies specified in the individual notifications. Depending on the applicable rules, additional vacancies reported during the validity of the respective ranked lists may also be filled.

Eligibility differs across the 12 notified categories. Candidates must satisfy the relevant educational qualification, age limit, service experience, community reservation and physical requirements before applying.

Kerala PSC Post-Wise Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy the complete educational, professional registration, experience and category conditions of their respective notification. Equivalent qualifications will be accepted only as permitted under the relevant Kerala PSC and Government rules.

Kerala PSC Laboratory Assistant Eligibility - Category 162 and 163/2026

Both Laboratory Assistant categories require a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Microbiology. However, Category 163/2026 is restricted to eligible regular employees of MILMA-affiliated member societies with at least three years of qualifying regular service.

Separate ranked lists will be prepared for the General and Society categories. The notification specifies a 1:1 apportionment principle when advising candidates against reported vacancies.

Kerala PSC Assistant Professor Eligibility 2026

The Medical Education Department notifications cover postgraduate and super-specialty faculty posts. Applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and meet the prescribed experience, research-course and medical registration requirements.

• Cardiology: DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology, completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research and permanent registration under the prescribed Medical Council.
• Pathology: MD/DNB in Pathology with one year of prescribed Senior Resident experience or another specifically accepted experience route, and permanent medical registration.
• Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery: M.Ch./DNB/DrNB in the concerned specialty, completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research and permanent medical registration.

The Pathology notification provides additional accepted experience pathways for certain tutors, demonstrators, Armed Forces specialists and other qualified medical professionals. Applicants must refer to Category 167/2026 for the exact conditions.

Kerala PSC Police Constable Eligibility 2026

Category 172/2026 is for a Police Constable (Trainee) in the Armed Police Battalion, Ernakulam (KAP I), restricted to eligible LC/AI community candidates.

Important: Women candidates and differently abled candidates are not eligible for this particular Police Constable NCA notification, as expressly stated in Category 172/2026. Applicants must also meet the complete medical and physical fitness standards.

Several posts are notified exclusively for specific reservation communities. Applications from candidates outside the eligible community will be rejected for the applicable restricted categories.

Important: NCA means No Candidate Available. These recruitments are intended to fill specified vacancies left unfilled from earlier selection processes because eligible candidates from the notified community were unavailable.

The minimum and maximum age limits differ by post and recruitment category. Candidates must check the notified date-of-birth range and applicable relaxation conditions.

Age relaxation, including special relaxations applicable to particular categories, is governed by the respective notification and Kerala PSC General Conditions. The notified upper age limits should not be automatically increased for every candidate.

The posts carry different pay scales depending on the recruiting department and position. Assistant Professor salaries are governed by applicable UGC norms.

These are the notified pay scales and do not represent fixed monthly in-hand salaries. Actual remuneration will be subject to applicable allowances and deductions.

No application fee is required for applying through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration system under these notifications.
