VMRF ERP Implementation Coordinator Recruitment 2026

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Salem, has one opening for an ERP Implementation Coordinator. This person will run the rollout of the University's ERP system across all its constituent institutions and faculties. Applicants need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Management (MBA) or a related field. The University is now bringing in an ERP system for these institutions with an outside vendor, and this post will coordinate that work.

The University describes the role as critical to the successful deployment, adoption and use of its ERP system. The coordinator works with the ERP vendor and with internal stakeholders across all constituent institutions and faculties. The duties listed in the notice are:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the University and the ERP vendor.
• Coordinate and plan ERP implementation activities, timelines and deliverables.
• Understand University processes and work with the vendor to configure and customise the ERP system.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, documentation and process mapping from various departments and institutions.
• Coordinate data migration for the Academic, Student, HR, Finance and other modules.
• Organise and coordinate user training, awareness programmes and change management activities.
• Monitor project progress, track issues and make sure the vendor resolves them on time.
• Conduct testing and user acceptance, and ensure quality assurance.
• Support go-live, stabilisation after implementation, and user support.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards and presentations for the University leadership.
• Work with the IT team on system integration, security, data backup and compliance.
• Promote best practices for ERP usage and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer applications/information Technology /Management (MBA)/or Related field.

Experience

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ERP implementation is required. The notice prefers experience in the higher education sector or in large organisations, in areas such as:

• finance
• procurement
• administration

Preferred

Relevant certifications, such as ERP, PMP or ITIL, are an advantage.
