CMD Project Engineer (Civil) Recruitment 2026

The Centre for Management Development (CMD), Thiruvananthapuram, has one contract vacancy for a Project Engineer (Civil), with a salary range of Rs.35,000/- to Rs.45,000/-. Civil Engineering graduates with at least 3 years of building or road construction experience can apply if they are within the upper age limit of 40 years. Applications go by email only. The Centre for Management Development is a self-supporting autonomous institution under the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala, located at Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram. It provides research, consulting and training support to development agencies, the corporate sector and the government. Established in 1979 to provide capacity development support to Public Sector Undertakings in Kerala, it is sponsored by the Government of Kerala as an independent, professional and registered society.

The salary within this range will be fixed based on the candidate's relevant experience and any additional relevant qualification acquired.

Educational Qualification

Graduation in Civil Engineering from a recognised University.

Mandatory Experience and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction and/or road construction, including Design, Site Supervision, MBook Recording, Bill Preparation and Verification, QC, etc.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PRICE.
• Only post qualification experience is considered, with 1 October 2026 as the cut-off date.

Preferred Qualification

Candidates with Post Graduation in Structural Engineering, Geo Technical Engineering or Construction Management will be given preference.
